📋 What is the role all about?
As Senior Finance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the financials for two Belgium companies within Erve Europe. Working closely together with two other team members, you will coordinate and manage the tasks to be done whilst fulfilling your own financial role. In addition, you will be a ‘co-pilot’ to the Erve Europe Leadership team.
Your resposibilities:
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
- Preparing and analysing management reporting, including cashflow projections, turnover reporting, ad hoc margin analysis.
- Responsibility for the treasury function including hedging.
- Liaise with counterparties in each foreign entity for intercompany reconciliation and reporting to facilitate the global consolidation process.
- Oversee financial processes and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Business partner with internal departments to optimise financial processes and enhance cost efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to the Leadership team.
- Instrumental in leading and managing the audit process in a timely manner and implementing any improvements based on audit findings.
- Identify financial risks and collaborate with leadership team to minimise those risks.
- Responsibility to administer the HR function with the support of the social secretariat including monthly payroll.
- Oversea management two finance team colleagues.
- You will be the point of contact for external partners, such as the external auditor, bank and insurance broker.
- Conduct financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments, including risk assessments and financial forecasts.
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation.
👤 Are you the one we’re looking for?
- You have minimum 3 years’ experience as senior finance professional.
- You have a master’s degree with an economic background, and experience within an Accounting or Audit practice is an advantage.
- You have advanced Excel skills.
- You have experience with ERP systems (a knowledge of Microsoft AX and F&O is a plus).
- You have experience with Power BI.
- You are accurate, prioritise well and have a critical mind.
- You take a planned, structural approach and independently manage your tasks.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English (basic knowledge of German and/or French is a plus).
- You are a team player who is flexible and can be relied on to take initiative.
- You have strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles (BE GAAP).
