With the help of ETI we were able to achieve an important milestone in our human rights journey: we graduated from foundation to full ETI.

During our foundation membership, we have improved processes and systems in our supply chain and participated in project on responsible purchasing with the help of ETI.

After joining ETI we have learned that a lot of other ETI members also work towards the same overall goal and collaboration, it was reassuring to see other members find themselves in similar postions when it comes to managing human rights.

Based on the ETI Base Code we have updated and improved our supplier code of conduct. Our policies also have been updated based on feedback of ETI and they both have been published and can be consulted on our website. We never had full insights in the budget we spend for all CSR related topics and projects and with the help of ETI we now have a clear strucrure and insights in our budget which makes it easier to follow-up and compare over the years. During our journey, we switched to an online paltform tex.tracer to conduct our supply chain management and to build in transparency in our chain on order level.

During our membership we participated in the multistakeholder initiative - LIC (Learnig and Implementation community) on improving responsible purchasing. During this project we learned a lot from other ETI members and our strategic suppliers also participated in this inittiative were we had several online workshops togheter to discuss one of the CFRPP pillars (collaboration, communication, planning, payment terms, costing) . We are following up closely on what we have learned here and implement this in our day to day business.

Future plan and looking ahead after graduation:

Further improving and reviewing our policies and including topics such as salient risks, transparency and collaboration to make sure we have a good foundation. This will allow us to have a strutured follow-up on potential risks and migigate them when they might occur in our supply chain. Our buying team will start asking for annual supplier feedback on how responsible we are sourcing. To further build on the relationship we already have with our key suppliers we will start conducting supplier summits on important topics related to human rights and due diligence such as climate, sustainable material use etc to make the suppliers aware and show them what is in it for them. This will help us maintaining a solid ethical trade strategy with support of ETI and its wider community is a key part tol further grow.
