📋 What are the traineeships all about?
Quality & Compliance
- Communicating with our offices in Asia and Africa
- Setting up a library of fabrics and a library of materials
- Supporting the CSR circle for materials analysis and supplier chain analysis. Prepare a risk analysis of production countries and producers based on a review of audit reports and surveys from the fashion industry and assist with due diligence communications
- Learning and implementing community on responsible buying - drawing up questionnaire suppliers on responsible buying + analysing results
- Updating Erve code of conduct and possibly a dual code of conduct for suppliers.
- Contributing ideas on how to communicate CSR to the outside world.
- Assist with entering and checking data upload tex.tracer. Online supplier monitoring.
Organisation & Management
- You will work in the Merchandise Circle, working closely with our other departments. Guaranteed varied and educational!
- Co-managing the collection from development to delivery
- Support in following up orders from A to Z, according to customer demand up to the point of delivery
- Ensure correct order entry, which serves as the basis for all reporting
- Communicate with both our customers and our offices in Asia and Africa
Accountancy & Fiscality
- Entry of bank statements
- Entry of supplier invoices
- Deduction of accounts (suppliers/customers)
- Perform ad hoc bookings
- Support in customer follow-up
- Support in VAT/ IC/ Intrastat declarations for Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France
- Support in other daily/monthly work/tasks
- Participate in one-off question/problem solving
Sales & Buying
- Support our tight-knit sales and buying teams on a range of strategic and operational projects for our key accounts, high-growth clients, and prospective customers.
- Manage and grow your first customer portfolio by identifying, planning, and seizing new business opportunities under C-level mentorship.
- Work independently with other teams across the business (Advertising, Seller Support, Logistics, etc.) to optimize our business processes, product sourcing, supply chain operations, and customer service.
- Assist in building and fostering partnerships with renowned retailers.
- Prepare for and participate in key meetings with clients and suppliers.
Marketing
- Produce marketing and promotional materials for web, social media and presentations, keeping everything well-structured and up to date
- Support our e-commerce team with web banners and email marketing
- Visualise your ideas and strategies to be able to present them internally
- Propose original samples, promotional gifts and end-of-year presents to send to prospective leads and business contacts – all in line with our mission and communication guidelines
- Come up with relevant topics for news items
- Support in the organisation of photoshoots
- Keep our website content up to date
- Contribute to, manage and maintain social media profiles
- Promote the mission of Erve through all your internal and external communications

👤 The ideal trainee
- A highly motivated and eager-to-learn individual with a relevant degree.
- A flexible team player who takes initiative and drives projects to completion.
- Prior work experience is a plus but not required—we believe all necessary skills can be taught.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
