Fashion powerhouse of licences and brands
Erve Europe (Van der Erve NV) is the foundation of the ERVE GROUP and was established in 1985 in Brussels, the capital of Europe.
Erve Europe is a European leader in character licences and brands. We produce branded fashion and apparel featuring TV, film, cartoon, and video game heroes. As part of Erve Group, we have eight offices across three continents, and we control the supply chain between raw materials and stores. Starting with our in-house design team and portfolio of licences, we source, produce, pack and transport collections at the request of major fashion retailers. With 35 years in the industry, our dynamic team values growth, transparency, and customer focus. Our exceptional quality and sustainable practices have earned us a reputation for excellence. Our head office and showroom are located in Zaventem near Brussels.
We believe in an organisation that operates in circles, giving everyone the chance to shine. If every individual has the opportunity to develop their full potential, we’ll be happier and more successful as a team.
An open environment, collaboration and growing together is what we stand for.
Step by step, better each time.
Erve Europe is a company based on brands under licence and under ownership, assisting retailers with all stages of production and distribution.
Great Place To Work
Global Design Team
Our global design team is based on three continents in multiple locations. Our designers create innovative collections based on the latest trends, inspired by visiting exhibitions, shopping, immersing themselves in the fashion world and perusing professional literature. This way, the designers are capable of making personalised collections to meet the high standards of our customers. They also work with the licensing and marketing team to define marketing campaigns and promote new licences.
Sales & Purchasing
At Erve Europe we specifically choose to combine sales and purchasing. This means that your sales representative is familiar with the product and production process and that our clients receive favourable prices and personal, swift, and efficient service.
Erve Europe gives you access to an extensive license portfolio and high-quality products created in a socially conscious environment.
Quality, Compliance & Sustainability
- OEKO-TEX® certified
- member of BCI
- REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances) is integrated in all our production processes.
- signatory to the ‘Fire And Building Safety’ agreement.
Licensing & Marketing
The licensing & marketing team has a wide variety of tasks, ranging from creative to financial aspects. These aspects include design approval, contract negotiation and management, as well as formulating the financial status for each license. Together with the design team, the licensing and marketing team monitors OEKO-TEX® and social compliance, while staying ahead of new legislation concerning product quality and testing.
The merchandising team monitors the production process from beginning to end on behalf of our customers. Working within a dedicated, specialised team, they maintain contact with both our offices in production countries and our clients.
Logistics & Accounting
Transporting our products from production countries to our customers in Europe is coordinated by our headquarters in Zaventem. Flexibility is combined with reliability, short- and long-term deliveries, as well as stock and NOS (Never Out of Stock).
The accounts team manages the financial administration for the entire company.
